Sharing my spark

I had such a faabbbulous day today. I got to see Lil Kris & Pcill and make fresh cherry pie (althought I had to leave ahead of time and didn't get to taste it). I needed entourage time since our last visit ended abruptly. We visited Kristys' garden and had a taste of some vegetables shes been growing. Mmmhm so good! I love organically grown yummyness.

Okay back to card stuff. I decided to participate in Heathers' share your spark friday challenge which was to use 7 things on a card. These things can be anything from stamps to copic to stickers and what not. I figured I would use MB's twin cupcakes again since its the stamp of the week and I <3 this stamp. Also, while on the topic of MB, I purchased some of her spool dolls on her etsy shop, you should check it out they are adorable!
I made this card for my niece who turned 3 this week! I made her invitations as well which are minnie mouse themed but I decided to stray away from minnie and use my new Pink Paislee clear stamps! Everything is a muse except for the dinosaur. My original idea behind this card was that I wanted the dinosaur to hold the cupcake and I was going to use some new American Craft rub-ons I just go in the mail. However, the "eat cake" rub-on from the celebration set was more boy-ish colors.

My 7 items:
  • Pink Paislee dinosaur stamp
  • MB Twin Cupcakes
  • Happy sentiment from the Birthday Builder clear stamp set
  • Birthday sentiment from the Happy Birthday to You stamp
  • Twinkle stickers
  • Wisteria colorbox chalk ink
  • A muse purple polka dot, chiffon, popsicle pink, and french roast notecards

P.S. I realize the sentiment is a little crooked. I would've fixed it but I've spent alllll day trying to mask the dinosaur juustt right without messing it up. Besides, a 3 year old is on the receiving end and as much as I hate to admit it, it will probably end up in the trash.

Stamp of the week challenge #16

My all time favorite a muse stamps has to be Missy Ballance's twin cupcakes. When I first discovered A muse right before Valentines Day, I waited at Memory Depot until they unpacked and separated every last portion of their shipment. I knew these stamps would go fast and that I would have little time to get valentines stamps. I just about died when I saw this stamp! I think it is the cutest stamp ever and I LOVE cupcakes!

Here's my twin cupcakes card I made for the stamp of the week challenge on the addicts board. When I saw the twin cupcakes were the stamp of the week i was so excited I started stamping right away. I'll probably have a few more to post. TFL!

A Muse addicts challenge #41

I did my first addicts challenge last night. Wheeeeee! The paper on the sentiment is a random scrap of Madeira note card I just flipped it over and used the blank side. I just used my EK success corner rounder for the end and waaaalaaah!

For Sale—One (1) Wife, slightly used, 1964 Model

Date: 2008-04-14, 2:09AM PDT

Needs muffler, as it is currently VERY LOUD. Intake valve is stuck in the open position.

Rear end needs major overhaul. A crack there has grown monstrously large.

Needs re-wiring—Many wires are currently crossed.

Lots of little dings in the body, which have been covered up with too much paint in a
failed effort at camouflaging them.

Needs re-upholstering—Carpet has turned a dingy gray.

Needs front-end work--Tits are too close to the ground, and knees are too far apart.

May not pass emissions test, as it currently produces foul clouds of malodorous gases on a regular basis,

Heater works great. Hot air is never in short supply..

Asking $500 or trade for 1984 model.

Wheee first card post

Holy moly I never thought this day would come! I finally found my battery charger for my camera and am not suprised it has been hiding in my daughters closet! Anyways, so I just uploaded 'em and will be sharing them over the next few days. Enjoy!

These are some thank you cards I made a while back for my sister and my uncle Ralph. For easter we went to El Paso and although Ellie and I flew my parents were brave enough to drive. They took my daughters pink push buggy with them but forgot it at my grandmas house. So, my uncle attached it to the roof of his Xterra and drove it to San Antonio where my sister picked it up and brought it home!

And this is the mothers day card I made for my momma! It was very last minute... like day of! I was upstairs for an hour trying to make it while my mom made our special dinner.

I will be back sometime tomorrow to share more. Thanks for looking.
